359th Bomb Squadron order.
Shown first on a seal brown vintage Eastman Leather jacket and second (with 2 patches) on a Rough Wear 1401 from Eastman Leather too.
Patch has been made according to reference watercolor used in 359th BS historical documents so the background is a very light blue quite difficult to catch with camera
Ongoing work on a AVI Denmark A2 bronco jacket:
Famous B24 "Tail Wind" of 379th Bomb Squadron, sadly lost on July 11th 1944 during a mission to Munich. 3 crewmembers were killed and other bailed out and were taken POW. May this artwork remember them.
Original nose art, from Gil Elvgren, was of course yellow colored and pinup girl was brunette. Customer of this artwork asked me to make the pinup from his girlfriend, blonde. So color of the dress was stated red.
Original nose art was added on the b24 reinforcing windy effect.
