Yes, I've seen that sort of thing before with vintage jackets: Some were clearly mistakenly cut or tagged when originally made. And some who measure don't quite get it right, but this guy is a pro, so I doubt that's the case here.

Maybe it's not soon to be lodging in the UK ... :eek:

He's revised the chest measure by 2" in the listing. So much for being a measuring pro ... :eek:

Another extremely nice A-2 sold at a high price! Good for sellers, bad for buyers :D :x Common-enough contract, but rare condition and size. I'd say the next stop is a one-way flight to the UK. ;)

The Cable 27753 A2 was a fairly large contract judging by the number of originals that come up for sale and was most likely the largest of their three contracts. I have been on the look out for a very well preserved size 44 for a couple of years now since I sold my superb size 46 which was just too large for me! The price was certainly high and hopefully the jacket will be as good as it appears from the decent pictures posted on Ebay.
