Ultra Rare Willis & Geiger A-2!

This one is truly one-of-a-kind:

In early 1990's the US Air Force contracted with Willis & Geiger to manufacture the same jacket to be supplied to USAF air crews.

This jacket was issued to me and NEVER warn.

This is new, never, worn, never taken out in the weather and has not had patches sewn on.

This jacket is not a knock-off, it is an origional issue jactet.

Well..I don't know if they were issued in the 1990s or not..but W&G wasn't a contractor for A2s during WW2.

Nor have they made jackets under USAF contract in the 'modern' era.

And that's a wartime style label, with the original contract number, not a modern issue one.

I've seen one of those up close at an antique store, too small for me, and they have a strange color and finish, but I would have bought it if it fit...for the heck of it.

It has the same dodgy contract number as the jackets "approved" to be worn by RAAF Flight Crew. Probably same maker?
