Hello , I have the occasion to get a RW 23380 , brand new . What's your thoughts about the label and the repro quality , accuracy ?
Thanx
The link is the model of RW I'm about to buy
If you’re buying it because you really like it and you’re not overly concerned about details and accuracy.. go for it .

The big difference I can see , with my little knowledge , is are the pockets flaps 16159 original are more pointed . but you can see so much more .

To end this thread , I will listen to my Jeminy Cricket who tell me to wait for a real true top quality by JC for a nice RW 27752 . It will worth the price and time . I have all ready have 4 ELC and a 5* , no need just another A2 just to get one . The stand collar was the true appeal for that jacket. Thank you for your time !!!

In that moments I realise why I stay by this VLJ community : Gentlemen who shares their passion and knowledge to whom is enough interested and curious to progress in a precise domain , in that case it's the WW1 et WW2 leather jackets , and especially the icionic A2 . When I visit the site of J Chapman and the Depot ACME , and by these days when I discovered that you created " The Mighty A-2: A Guide to the Army Air Forces’ Leather Flying Jacket" thread , working hard , involving the two best makers of the jackets , G eastman and J Chapman . I realised in the right place at the right time ! A year ago I decided to order a A2 from Good Wear , getting in touch with JC was a real pleasure 'cause he is very kindful , full of humanity and humilty and talent . But I realised that it was too early to take order of a jacket that was kind of a fantasm to me without getting enough knowledge to understand some subtilities that makes the difference between an average (but beautiful ) jacket and YOUR OWN ONE that makes you real happy and sure of your choice . So several months before I decided to turn off the order with JC , telling the same words as these , and then i bought some ELC jackets to see what's a real one ( I had my 5* only before that , that is very correct but was not satisfied , I wanted the best ) . It's the last news from the thread "My last A-2 (hopefully) - Good Wear" that decided me to get a ticket again and back in the waiting room ;)- (The coolhandluke A2 is so impressive just out of the box ! )
I'm still learning and will always !! If someone told me I were writing this answer just two years ago I would have told him he was wrong , I was wrong ! ahaha I came as a tourist , now I'm a junior addict . SO : Thank you ALL in that community to share your passion and knowledge !!! I think that JC's gonna have a $200 bucks deposit and the process will start again but this time with a more mindful spirit . And arm me with a lot of patience too !! PS : Forgive my english , I just don't want to use the google translator .
