I also love the Heron. If there was a more affordable version on the market I'd get one!

A nice half belt in horsehide would be great too.

I think there is a very good market for civilian designs made in horsehide at good prices.
All underlying discussions aside: Aero is not able to built jackets fast enough for all those wanting one, have become much more strict on not wanting to deviate from stock sizes. Alexander leathers seems to be able to produce jackets faster at the moment and at more interesting prices and with more customization in the sizing, but they do not seem to have access high quality brown horsehide.

So IMHO there is definitely a big niche waiting to be filled.

Mark does SUPERB work, those look great. I am really enjoying my Lincoln Brigade jacket he made for me!

I just might have to order one of those A-1-A-2 jackets!
