OBTW,

The picture of the wife and I is on "White-1" not "Vera". White-1 now belongs to the Collings Foundation and they are currently getting her ready to fly on the airshow circuit this coming season.

I have some early pics of the "Vera" Navy restoration. but the pics on the website are much better then my old camera phone.

Thanks for sharing Dan. I followed with great interest of the ME-262 project in Seattle. German aircraft of WW2 was always my specialty and I studied all of them (especially late models) since I was a child. It's great to see more and more of these rare birds take the skies again.

I saw some of the test flights go over a construction site I was on for one of the replica Me262's. I was blown away.
