I saw this on Saturday in the Sammy Miller Museum in Dorset, UK - Someone had done poor research regarding the notice alongside - they said it was a B17 pilots - I did a google and found the owner must have flown with VB110 on PB4Y antisub patrols out Dunkeswell in Devon. That squadron number is painted on the right sleeve, USN under the collar, G1 style pen pocket on left pocket. My question - what is it - M422A, G1 or something else? And it’s a 44, tagged in the right pocket, so would fit me! Woukd love to buy it but it’s not likely to be for sale……

Hi,

Not much to go on but the pocket shape tells me that this jacket is either a Werber G-1 or AN-J-3A by Arnoff.

The zip is a replacement and poorly done.

Personally, I would steer clear.

Cheers Dave
