i'm kidding, my avitar is from the great escape, the movie....
He was shot down though, but made it back to friendlies before the plane crapped out. was a balll turret gunner in a b-17 in the 774th BS 15th AAF 1944-45. he's 19 yrs old in those pics. looks like i have to dig up the old box of pics. have them from cadet school to the war zone, a couple of nice ANJ-4 pics too.
