Size patch 5,5 / 6,5 inch ??

Does anyone happen to know from this photo how big this '100th' patch is?? 5.5 inches or 6.5 inches? for comparison my patch from the 533rd is 6.5 inches...and why is this 100th patch on the right chest instead of the left chest? does that have to do with 'squadron patch' on the left and bomber group on the right??

The 100 BG is painted on not a patch

Assuming the name tag is the typical 4 inches, the century bomber art appears to be 4.5 to 5 inches. Often a group patch/art was placed on the right and squadron was placed on the left. Not a rule that was followed absolutely; you will find many variations.
