What mean is the pattern looks like the body length is very long compared to originals.
Thank you for the information on it as I know you are the Shearling guy! What size should I look for in an Irvin? I'm a 42 and this one from Aero is a 44. 5' 10" about 150-155

as much as I LOVE these, I rarely used to wear mine. I reconsidered recently only to look up some photos of me in my last Irvin and confirmed that its just too much jacket for me, draws too much attention, Its an absolute classic but in the same way just too outdated to wear as a legit piece of clothing. Yes, I did get my share of "hey, cool jacket" comments but I also feel/felt silly wearing it........also, practically, these jackets keep you REALLY warm but not your rear so for really cold weather, I prefer the practicality of a longer jacket. In the end, for me, style looses out to functionality and just "well, its 2023, people don't wear this stuff anymore" My wallet thanks me for having this point of view, which is NOT shared by most here. Still, I agree these are awesome jackets!!!!
