Hello guys , been a while but i thought i would put up this A-2 ELC stock jacket i have in my colletion , size 44 but as it is one of the older earlier ELC House Jackets as these tended to be cut that little bit biger. I am generally a size 42 this although states 44 is more generous in both fit and cut .this i am willing to part with regrettably as it is just that little bit too big for me and anyone who knows about the earlier Eastman A-2 will appreciate this . It is spotless inside out and even the knitwear is faultless ! Size measurements are:
PIT TO PIT = 24.5in
SHOULDER TO SHOULDER = 20in
ARM LENGTH FROM SHOULDER TO CUFF = 24.5in
LENGTH FROM NAPE TO END OF HEM = 25.5in

Pit to pit 20. 5 inches on a generous cut size 44 seems a little tight . Especially when the shoulders are 20 inches . Are you sure on that?

Just double checked shoulder to shoulder it is actually 20.5 in

Welcome to VLJ and the crazy hobby of spending large amounts of cash on jackets that never seem to fit the way that you’d like them to fit. Your ELC looks good on you and if you happen to look at some early period photos of people wearing originals of that jacket , you’ll see that they all fit tight. It’s crazy but you look good in that jacket . Wear it exclusively for a while and it will give and stretch a little. You’ll also begin to feel more comfortable in it .
On another note it’s good to chat with you and to see you posting .
