It doesn't surprise me that they would have some A-2s, and no doubt some of these were even original. Thousands though, and buying all stock of the AAF?

Of course you may be right about a hidden climate controlled special storeroom.....

As I recall Western Costumes is not in Burbank?

Problem was with the RW? The AAF retired them beginning after 1943. Most of them are sitting in a warehouse in Burbank.

Western Costume is located in a large building near the northwest corner of Vineland Street and Vanowen Avenue, in North Hollywood (in the San Fernando Valley), near the Burbank Airport.

They appear to currently be in 'North Hollywood'

Looks like they produced uniforms of some sort during WW2. I wonder if the labels showed 'Western Costume Co.'
