Got my right shoulder treated, Calcific Tendinitis, so taking things a bit easy.
Left arm still fine so thought I do some more painting on my repro musette bag while sitting at home.
Found this 1943 Red hot riding hood drawing, looked like a fun thing to do...

I feel your pain… just had an MRI… I’m looking at a total reverse shoulder replacement.
That’s a bugger. Shoulders seem to be a weak point in us humans. My brother had his done. I know both of my rotator cuffs are pretty much done. Can’t really do anything above my head anymore. Hope all goes well for you Burt.

Ugh, Burt. Good luck with it all.

I feel your "pain," everyone. I had cardio ablation a week-and-a-half ago to correct AFIB. Still recovering, but coming along well.

First ever surgical procedure for me, I was just a little tentative.
It has really surprised me how your body begins to break down after the age of 60.
Body parts and internal organs begin to go bad for no apparent reason. But then you begin to remember those crazy things you did in your younger years, and you realize that you never really did make a clean getaway from all of those hits and injuries you took on the athletic field or those years of military service jumping out of this or that, or those nights of drinking with the guys until you puked. You realize that while you never kept score ….. your body did !

Ah crap... I just wanted to display my amateur painting skills...

But Burt, I'm not even 60, 3 years to go.
Although when young(er) and into some adventurous hobbies there aren't many joints that don't have screws or pins in them.
The body sure keeps score. You've got that right.
Again hope all works out with the shoulder surgery and have a smooth recovery.

I like to think we're classic cars -- yeah, 60+ years can put some wear and tear on us, but a little restoration gets us back on the road! ;)

At least, I hope.
