Rare Reed N-3A model

If this was a N-2A, I'd have a difficult time passing it up. These don't come up but maybe once every three years or so in this condition. This is the same exact model Jimmy Stewart sports in Strategic Air Command when they crash land in Greenland. Complete with Crown zippers and "real" fur!

Without a doubt, Korean war era in design and materials, if not issued during it.

These were used from very early 50s and all the way up into the mid 60s.

This Reed contract dates from FY 1951, and examples have synthetic, or real fur trim. Reed had a second N-3A contract the following year, and this was all synthetic trim.
