The marine caps are widely available and inexpensive (replicas) I think I actually got mine on amazon

I believe the cap is an Engineers cap that the railroad workers wear . You can see photos below . They cost about $14.00 on Amazon.

The aircraft in the foreground are Vought F7U Cutlass, the first US Navy jet with swept wings and the first to have engines with afterburners. From what I've read, not the easiest aircraft to fly nor the best performer either. Its underpowered engines and unreliable hydraulic system made it prone to accidents, earning it the nickname of the "ensign eliminator".
In the background are two Douglas AD-1 Skyraiders, two Grumman F9F Panthers and a couple of Lockheed P2 Neptunes at the back of the flight deck.
Interesting mix of aircraft.
