I'd say so. During Germany's occupation of France in WW2, some 250 D.520 fighters were captured and painted in Luftwaffe markings.

My, how times have changed. Russia has become the expantionist, agressive fascist regime they lost tens of tens of millions to.

I think they’ve been doing that for a long time (see: Poland, Estonia, Lithuania, Czeckoslovakia etc in the 20th C)
