Ralph Edwards 7823B

I acquired this Ralph Edwards 7823B recently and it has become my daily wearer. It's a bit large on me, but comfortable, allowing me to wear warm clothing underneath when needed. It's all original with just a few nips in the knits and has probably the softest fur collar of any Navy jacket I've had.

I did notice that the perforated USN is vertical, not horizontal like most are. Is this something unique to a Ralph Edwards G-1? I only ask because I don't see the vertical perforation that much.

Stony, the burnished red mouton is pretty damn nice. What are the measurements? You normally wear a 42, no?

I think the vertical USN windflap punchings are a trait unique to Ralph Edwards. They continued that all the way through to their 7823E variant.
