ya Chandler. Too many "tiger" patches. etc.
Skimming my post, are ye?What's that in the lower left corner? copyright?
Your answer is very vague, please extrapolate.nice pinup cloth. There you go.
Trained in Americaslight O/T. My neighbors dad served in the Chinese Nationalist AF, and apparently he had an M-422. I guess some of those guys wore em.
International military antiques? Pffft if so I believe Craig Cockleib is involved with that, I wouldnt belolieve anything that comes out of his mouth and company he's a scammer notoriously so on military forums and a Eastern front grave robber! Some were sold by the IMA antique dealer, quite a reputable one. Agree that without having hard evidence it is not possible to authenticate historical items. Feel free Chandler to pinpoint fakes, we can all learn from it.
Hey JonnyCrow, I'm not sure [but personally doubt that Gotlieb is involved with IMA]. IMA has a different owner.Craig Cockleib is involved with that
is that a G2 jacket ?
A civilian jacket perhaps, somewhere at the forum ,there is a pic, same type of jacket wearing by B17 pilot.is that a G2 jacket ?
Those jackets were donated by Kunming residents to the flying tiger museum.
They're modern repros -- the way the epaulettes roll forward on the first one, plus its hand-warmer pocket design, and the map lining in the second are telling.is that a G2 jacket ?
Think it was a late 80s jacket.Any idea which year Avirex build this jacket?
Not sure what this means, can you explain?... consider the nature of that expedition...
Sorry, Chandler it’s auto spell check, I mean exhibiting.
The museum is an official organization, they have obligation to lend out items to other organization. As result , they keep those modern fake items , in order to fulfill other’s requirements, and they can keep their good stuffs intact.
