Pants/Trousers You Wear with your Flight Jackets - Excluding Denim!

I just received a pair of Bronson's 1942 Chinos and honestly, I'll never buy a pair of Buzz Rickson's again - both brands are made in China (thanks for that bit of info @Shanghai-Mayne) and frankly I think Bronson's might be better - certainly the fabric is a bit more substantial. If someone wants to spend the money on a pair of RMCs or something made in the USA (or Britain, for that matter), fair do’s, but if you're going to buy something made in the PRC, get the better trousers at the better price!

This is them pre-washing. Post-washing they shrank just a little bit, so that now I don't need to have them hemmed.

Anyway, personal rant out of the way - I thought I'd start this thread so people could share the pants they wear (other than jeans) with a flight jacket. If you browse Standard & Strange's website, there's TONS of cool and interesting trousers (and also some terrible looking ones - that’s capitalism), but I find it so easy to default to jeans. So let’s see what else ya got!

Great ! Is that the 42's ? I was so happy with that I bought two more , one a size up to prevent the winter 55years yoyo and a last to get a replacement if the 1st got some bolognese on ;) At that price you can offered this kind of prodigality. PS: I did not noticed any shrink after 1st wash.

I've got a few pairs of Bronson trousers and they're really very good indeed. They feel absolutely bulletproof and are the right proportions for me, which is perfect.
My 1st one was a OG107 , about 5 years ago , the larger size that I hadn to enlarge a bit . I'm a 36 but at thatb time their sizing were running a bit short. After several complains in the customer reviews they listened and resolved the problem. Since that day all clothes pants / shirts / jackets ri=un true to common sizing . The fact that they reproduce the "original" cuts of the pants ( for example high waist , "baggy" like 30's or 40's ) is a plus IMO , this is why I mostly order Bronson ( plus price / fabric ...)

Just a thought to share with everyone on the trousers front, apart from chino's (and denim clearly) for more formal trousers I suggest finding a tailor you like and, if needed, get yourself a 40's or 50's trouser pattern off ebay, Etsy etc, or give them an old pair with a cut you like to pattern from and have them made. That's what I generally do and they are far cheaper than some of these high end stores and you get exactly what you want, I've known a tailor for some years who knows the look I want. Anyway, I hope the idea is useful. Cheers all

Spencers Trousers can do this and from what I've seen when friends have ordered from them, they're really quite successful.
