Not "marked size 40 but measures as size 44/46" per the usual modus operandii of this seller?
Does it look like the knits have been replaced to you guys? Overall though, it looks nice to me, and I don't usually like painted examples.

Jason, The knits appear to be original to the jacket. They are identical to those on my size 44 Star.

Korean War era painting. Not alot of them around, but they tend to go for less than WW2 examples.
