Painted B-15...seems iffy to me

Painted B-15 from Thailand. The jacket itself looks nice but to me the style of the painting and its condition suggests a rather recent paint job...what do you guys think?

That's not a B-15. No internal pockets, no snaps on the outside pockets, no label, no arm pen pocket, wrong zipper, no way !

Well, shows what I know Though I should have caught the lack of inside pockets.

That seller has been taking any old jacket that has the look of a flight jacket and copying paint jobs from books, mags and selling them on eBay. They've found a nich market for those who just want a painted 'flight styled' jacket and aren't concerned with details. S'okay, the buyer gets what they want and the seller has a market...kind'a like Avirex did in the 80's.

I agree. This seller has auctioned painted jackets before-all painted recently with few descriptive words in that hope that someone pays an inflated price for them. :roll:
