anybody notice how many times that the collar nomenclature label in perry a-2s are off set? that is, not stitched centered up under the hanger loop. i always wondered why, as it is not often so the case with other original makers.

Yes. For domestic shipments the shipping boxes simply needed to be acceptable to the freight agent.

For export shipments the A-2 cartons required specific information listed below before being placed in a shipping container per specification 23-54. The shipping container markings followed specification 100-2.
