Monarchs at least originals tend to run a bit small. I have an original size 46 that fits like a 44 (at least on me since I wear 44 originals in many different contracts). I tried on a 44 original Monarch and it was a bit tight on me.

I requested the measurements on this Monarch to get an idea of war time size 50. Comes in pretty close to my size 46 Goodwear jackets. Sorry, but I'd rather have two Goodwear A-2s for the "starting" price of this original. :roll:

This is the third time the seller has tried to sell his Monarch. I too feel it is over-priced. I also asked for the measurements and it is really close to a slim fitting wartime 46, but has very long sleeves (27") according to the seller. It does appear to be a nice example of a spray finished example. I prefer the earlier aniline dyed examples from the Monarch contract.
