That one was 6400 or so with another 20+ percent commission in last week's auction. Nice jacket. I watched it.
There was a CBI jacket with crusher cap and shirt at a different auction that was 17K when all costs settled. That made no sense to me, but, hey, as long as somebody's happy.

Interesting. Lt. Gene Arnold is listed as a co-pilot on the 8th AF museum web site in Savannah ... but as a pilot in the book. (I'm sure he had to be a pilot in order to be a co-pilot.)

Good catch, do you intend treating the leather at all - a tough call maybe and poss just the pics but does look a bit dry and then perhaps wearing it on the odd occasion?
