Orchard Info, Problem Resolved, Phone No.

I had a shipping delay problem with Orchard and I called them today (Tel: (718) 361-7250 ). The gentleman was very helpful. He said they actually made me a new jacket to fullfill my order. So some of you that might have a few days delay, it may be because they are making your jacket now. I guess this explains the wonderful fresh leather smell. He said he'd send me a picture of the process whenever he is not quite so busy.

We chatted a bit and the man told be that going back a few years they produced G-1s for Willis & Geiger, Avirex and Imperial. Interesting.

If they are making them now, might be an opportunity for reasonable custom work??????

I was going to mention this earlier, but was going to wait until I got my jackets to see the quality.

Yes they will do custom work, and the reason they are offering "All sizes" is because they are making them if they don't have the size in stock.

I talked to Peter about a jacket size, and pocket placement for the jacket. He replied to my surprise that they were making the jacket for me and "where do you want the pocket....and do you want some more pockets on the jacket?" So they are open to custom work. At no extra charge in my case! I will get the jacket on Tuesday and post something about it.
