The shorter sleeves are ok, i have the next sweater from WPG, but personaly for me, i prefer OLD TIME CO. Frock. Of course, during war was many, civilian sweaters, prefered by airmen, as well as boots etc.might be historically acurate but looks kinda goofy anyway with those short sleeves ...
Does anybody knit anymore? Dying art....So reminiscent of jumpers hand knitted by my Nan, mum and aunts and given to me as Christmas presents back when everything was still unblock and white. I did not appreciate them then but given the amount of effort, skill and love that went into the making wish I had one just for old times sake now.
It’s one of the more accurate repros of those issued by the RAF AM.The smock design took a little getting used to but the more I wear this the better it feels. It is a good weight paired with Aero's Irvin repro and keeps a decent temperature without boiling or chilling.
