this one is being offered by charles, the owner of hpa, and elc rep in the us. imho: price + shipping is a little high for a used elc a-2. the early ones [which this is] had very smooth hides, and were cut a little more generous then the subsequent werbers. it appears to be in nice condition though.

According to HPA, there have been no changes to hides or patterns since ELC introduced the Werber in 2007; ELC Warhorse isn't used on Werber or Cable RC. Here's an ELC Werber from a forum member that sold on Ebay as discussed in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=20&t=11844&hilit=werber It's jacket #29, which places it in this same first production from 2007 as the current Ebay listing.

Seems the one for sale now is quite a bargain, by comparison.

yup, that was grant's werber. he, as well as anyone following the auction was supprised at the final price. i believe it sold for more then the initial, new cost. auction fever, i reckon.
