Newbie Looking For Help

Hi Everyone,
Came across this jacket recently and am wondering if anyone can assist in identifying the type and/or brand of the jacket as well as the age. The brass hardware is throwing me off. Thank in advance for any insights.

I’d say it was a police jacket based on the badge holder placement on the left pocket.
How about a close up of the buttons and check the inside of the pockets , the sleeves and the interior liner for any labels that might help identify the jacket .
