Interestingly, the GW squeaks just like my previous one.
However, this morning i applied saddle soap to it with a sponge and voila, no squeaking whatsoever. The jacket looks and sounds fantastic

I change quickly !
It is more of a seal / port colour depending on the light. The rust knits probably make it look redder

So i now know for certain this jacket was made in 2009 of the earliest shinki hides used by GW.
You’d never know it is only 9 years old. I thought it was 75 years old - in a good way Thankfully i am not rich or i’d have half a dozen GW in the pipeline. Waiting time ? Who cares ? Quality is worth waiting for !
