Old mouton coats can be found on EBay for very little money . Cut down you can get multiple collars out of them . Here’s a coat I picked up and one of the collars it was made into .

Like the idea of sourcing the mouton for the collar - I did exactly that on my Martin Lane, same contract and size in fact. US Wings helped me with the process and it looks amazing I must say. Just needs to be worn and weathered a little and it will settle downJust a thought to consider . You can pick up some nice mouton for very cheap money and replace the Dynel collar and……. Still have an original USN issued G-1 jacket that looks great and costs hundreds less than a repro ELC G-1
