Great catch! Great fit, this is going to look and fit better & better as it wears in.

@Smithy Tim, it must be altogether cool, and a bit torturous to see 'THE jacket' appear on someone else, and you still have years to wait. haha
I know I'd be frothing at the bit.... "Thats the one, thats the one! Just like that!"

In all serious, it really helps in the decision process, seeing these jackets, helps one see leather/ knit/ colour combos....

I'm sure it is too! I'm thinking of putting a deposit down and having something russet made for the fun of it. But if anyone wants any pics of a detail, let me know and I'll be happy to post!

As some of you know based off my WTB post in the Buy/Sell, I was looking for a sz 46 Goodwear. John saw it and reached out to me with a RW 27752. It's in Shinki Seal horsehide with seal knits. 25" chest, 19.5" shoulders and 26.5" sleeves. I was a little worried about the sleeve length but it actually fits great. I have to get fit pics soon (I know its a rule here!) I really am blown away. I had a 38 Acme back in 2011 from John, but it was russet and din't quite fit correctly. This is just out of this world. The smell was the first thing that hit when I opened the box. Second was how beautiful the hide actually is. I can't wait to get some wear on it when it stops being 90 degrees here in Florida.

Small issue? After that wait? This is the reason I have never lined up.....
Yea I get it. I can’t do a year wait on a jacket myself. There was a issue when sewing the sheepskin on one of the hips which John repaired so it’s not visible, but John wants it to be perfect. The customer is local and came to the shop to be custom fitted. My wait was 3 days and the price was, as The Godfather says, a offer i couldn’t refuse!
