..how much a quality pair of pants will improve the look of your jacket. I bought my first pair of Levis yesterday, regular fit 505's, and my jackets look worlds better on me than they did with my older low-rises from bluenotes, which always made my jackets look too short :?

I really agree with you.........pants with a significant low rise can really ruin the look of an A-2, or a Navy jacket for that matter....IMHO.

Try a pair of Lee Japan or good LVC jeans and you'll be hooked!

Bills Khaki's look cool with an A2 or B3. High rise with watch pocket, similar to WWII khaki's,

but not an exact repro. Very comfortable with average durability. I like the M1 style which is

a bit more roomy. They often appear on ebay.
