Here are comparative pictures of the Ebay jacket with one of my Poughkeepsies.

Notice the lack on zipper reinforcement stitching on the Poughkeepsie which is typical but is always found on the Cable as the pic below shows.

Cable and Poughkeepsie pockets-they are quite similar.

Smaller ring snaps found on the 27753 Cable contract.

These images prove without any doubt that the Ebay jacket is not a Cable Raincoat A2, but a Poughkeepsie. So now Platon you can offer a Poughkeepsie repro.

are you calling our Japanese friends ignorants?

They don't know everything Platon. Never trust a book 100%. Check page 342 of 'Suit up !' Notice anything wrong ?

Well said Peter. The second Cable has a replaced Crown zipper and I'm not 100% convinced that the label has not been added later.

In fact, I've never seen a jacket book that hasn't got glaring errors somewhere. Can't comment on 'Full Gear'. I haven't got it.

OK, but there have been jackets without the reinforcement stitching
Please read what another expert is saying here
http://acmedepot.com/a2jacket/a2detail2.html

The zipper reinforcement stitching is unusual in that it is applied only on the wind flap side. What appears to be stitching on the other side is merely a crease.

On the ebay jacket we can't see the zipper side as the knits were replaced.

Anyway, I believe Andrew was right when he said the jacket in the book is a PK with wrong label. I notice that the images from 2 different books show the same jacket and it's a PK with wrong label.

I was mislead by the Japanese
