You're living in France?
Was wondering about shipping and import/customs cost.
That is killing all the fun living in EU
Yes, I'll tell you as soon as I received for custom fees, shipping is 115 USD.
Saint-ex, I’m still waiting for my first Good Wear orders next year but I’m guessing it must be an awesome feeling when John sends that email with an index of photos of your new jacket?
Oh men, I was so exited when I saw the url for pics !!!

To complete and clarify @CK90 .
I'm renovating my flat with my brother-in-law.
We're cutting and gluing baseboards, with electricity running through them, etc... so dust, dirty hands, you know the drill.
And I pick up my phone to check a measurement I'd noted down, and then automatically I check my emails (that red notification always gets me) and there it is: An email from John. I open it, I see the URL.
I told my brother-in-law "WOW WOW WOW! Let's stop everything, I'm sitting down!!!"
I was like a kid on Christmas morning. And I immediately sent photos to @Kermit3D , who I had coffee with yesterday and we talked about how excited we were to receive our GW orders.
By the way, his B-6 made by JC is so cool too... I understand when I read here that once you've tasted Goodwear, you don't want anything else.

Oh boy, that’s what I’m talking about!!!

My best wishes with the renovations, hopefully you are soon cooling down for festivities.

I can sense that feeling via the Internet Saint-ex, I really can. It must be the true excitement when that email hits the inbox.

I’m sure Kermit will only reiterate, there is nothing else like Good Wear! Let me guess already thinking of another order placing??

Much appreciated Jan. Just wow, look at that thing! Jan, Zhi, or anyone else - can you comment on the fit of the Monarch M-444A? It looks to me like a 42 is a true 42 from JC's pics. I'm a large 42/44, same as JC, same dimensions as yourself I believe Zhi. This looks like it would fit me perfectly in 42.
Hi I don't know how it missed this at the time, but happy to say this jacket is now sitting at the top of my collection. I've just dropped from a 44 to a 42,was a bit nervous to take a chance but it works perfectly. I now know that if one of John's jackets come up for sale, I'm on to it :)

Thanks Peter!!

Funny was talking to John about this one, I’m a 44 (modern 42) in most of his jackets but there’s a few exceptions where the old school sizing works out to be true to modern sizing, this M-444A is one of them as he explained to me.

So, for A-2’s etc. and most jackets you’d take a GW 44 as detailed by J.C!

That Star 55J14 you see me wear for example is tagged a 42 - and it’s an actual 42, was one of John’s old jackets actually I got lucky on for a great price.

Absolutely, the way I see it now,tag size is meaningless .ive heard this quoted here many times.John and I are very similar sizes, especially now, so now I know if it fits john it fits me.not that I'm buying any more jackets of course :)unless there's a gw anj4 or m-445 in the mix,,I'm sure i said recently that sheepskin didn't work for me !!!!!
