More Chinese Repo AAF Flight Jackets

I was cruising through Spearheads eBay listings looking for the A-2 listing again, (I'm on the border), when I came across these other flight jacket repros. I'm guessing they're made in China like the others.

USN AN-J-3

I kind of like the AN-J, I wish they would have left the side pocket instead of putting in the canvas pockets...even though they are probably more practical.

Any opinions of a non-political nature about these jackets ?

I was planning on pulling the pin on one of the Chinese made A-2s until one of the posters listed his "Tex Hill" jacket on eBay.

These have been around for quite a while, don't know anyone who's seen one yet. Outside of the likes of ELC, Aero, GW, RM, BR nearly all repro militaria is now made in China or India. Just read the bumph on ATF website for their reasons for sourcing the gear from there. Some Chinese-made gear is good but other items I've seen are a case of getting what you paid for, as for flight jackets I can't comment until I've seen any. Politics can't come into it as almost all our clothing is now made in Asia, here in UK companies like Primark have made it so cheap and I have no qualms about buying there.

The B-10 looks better than those German ones. Can't remember the company. Probably made in the same factory !

Pike Brothers...

...I remember that the owner said something like "Made in Europe" (which is likely to be the eastern part, for lower labour cost).
The "Rider's Room" in Hamburg (featuring AERO, Vanson, Bluntstones, Red Wings.... and Pike's stuff) has the B-10 in stock. The sleeves are way to puffy....something a second production run should address, says the owner of the "RR", who has been to a Pike's Bros. workshop for retailers (Which is a nice touch of Pike's, if they are listening to their customer's feedback...).
