the pocket flaps are wrong for a monarch, so, I concur. repro likely made by rmnz or rmj. also, it most likely fits a little smaller than tagged.

Cheers guys I've seen one of the Real McCoy it looked familiar, and yes if it fits smaller than 38, rules me out

If you sold yours years ago it isn't recent then?

Would be good to see the shoulder seams....I had one myself and know of at least one other RMNZ Monarchs with the wrong construction: The seams were not centered under the epaulettes, so if this jackets features the same flaw, it might be an RMNZ...

Appart the miserable “O” which should be a “D”… the rest looks 100x better than others..
