I didn't know that an M-422A could have had the usn punch on the flap, I always thought that was strictly a G-1 characteristic.

It must have been re-issued postwar. It's far from mint. I don't think it will sell at that price despite the size.

John Chapman brought up this exact issue the other day. If it has a small USN punched in the flap and it's a WWII jacket, then it's a depot jacket.
