Looks like the price of these have rocketed recently

I was watching this Luftwaffe jacket and am somewhat surprised at the final sale figure, these used to sell for a fraction of this one which has damage to the collar. From the questions asked it looks like some want to actually wear it too.

Yes prices have rockets for these issued jackets. At least this is the real thing, not a doctored bike jacket!

The price is within range of what they normally sell for. Not worth the final price considering the rotten velveteen collar IMO. Legit examples are not easily found, and tend to sell between $3,500-$5,000 for just the jacket. If the matching flight pants are involved, the price will double. A full set from a dealer here in MN recently sold on Ebay for about 10K.

Wow! So this seller should have listed the trousers with the jacket as opposed to separately then? Wish I'd have bought the couple I saw at Beltring the other year for £450!

It will be very interesting to see how accurate they are. It's a pretty complex jacket material and construction wise.

I think it will be pretty good. I have seen some detailed pics and it's impressive.
