I most probably came to the Life site through a post of one of us, so there is no news there.
But perusing that site I came to a photograph that touched me, and I'd like to share it with you guys.

Look at the tough look on the flyers face, and than look at his good luck charm, that he stuck in his shearling trousers. His own, from his childhood days, given him by his mom on his departure? Given to him by his child, when leaving home? Who knows. But having read about what those guys went through, you come to understand that tokens like this one aren't to be laughed at, and I bet his collegues didn't. They probably carried charms of their own!

Peter,
Pretty neat. I am sure there is a story behind that one. I bet your thoughts on it are pretty much what the story is. Thanks for sharing this.

It is a good thought you have there, Peter. A warrior confident in himself and his strength to display vulnerability.
