L-2 manufacturer differences?

So I'm currently looking to get a buzz rickson L-2 and see they reproduced 2 different mfg contracts. I know there are subtle differences from one A-2 manufacturer to another but is there anything different between the Reed Products and American Pad and Textile that buzz put out? Thanks

I don't believe there is. I have one of both and I don't recall any difference apart from the tag.
But I can't check because they're both stacked deep in my attic under layers of other nylon and nomex jackets

As to whether there were differences between the originals, I'd be shocked if there weren't. I'll defer to @Rutger on the patterns used for the modern repros.
