Help needed specific B-24 history sought

Do any of the experts here have a handy source to find the history of a specific ww2 B24 or other aircraft for that matter. In this case I have name and theater of operation, and even found a pic of the plane but would really like to know more about it, crew, missions etc. Thanks for any advice

Thanks so much some good info there! Might I also ask if there is a good way to search if I did not have the serial number? Any known sites or sources with deep info?

All depends really. Nose-art and aircraft names had a tendency to be replicated, in theatre, in fact sometimes in the same group if one aircraft got lost / damaged / replaced so using that as a basis for a search can be tricky, not impossible but tricky as you can end up chasing a machine with the same name but not the one you want. Narrowing it down to the theatre of operations helps a lot. The serial number really is the one to go for as the is specific to one particular aircraft. While there are umpteen online resources using several search engines to bring up text returns then carry out the same for image searches.
