Some jackets you just can't pass up, even this one, despite its small size. After all, you don't see many B-15D in this superb condition nowadays.

The B-15D was the last flight jacket of the U.S.A.F. featuring a mouton collar, in the mid 50s these jackets were modified by removing the fur collar, and replacing it with the wool elastic collar. This modification to the collar was intended to reduce the jacket’s flammability, and the interference with the new rigid fiberglass helmets from the early Jet age.

This example was made by the prolific Rolen Sportswear Co. in fiscal year 1953.

Hard to believe this jacket is 72 years old and still pristine.
