Thanks Burt. This is all useful experience. It’s a jacket that needs some attention in other areas so it’ll be interesting to keep an eye on things and re=apply as needed.
The process won’t be able to cover up paint … it just recolors lightly damaged areas . You’ll have to find a way to remove the paint first .Is this a good way to cover up paint spots on an older jacket? Or, is it better to remove the paint (even at the risk of color loss) and reverse the color loss with the dye in the boot cream?
Why someone would paint while wearing a nice older leather jacket is still hard for me to understand.
