At 5’10 i’m 165# and wear 32w. Not fighting a battle to stay lean. I just prefer to not have to be so precise in all of the measurements for comfort. I did the IH army thing for years. I’m awol. I also only think this is pertinent over 50.

I'm nearly 60 and don't fret about measurements - I always buy 34 inch waist and different makers fit different ways and some shrink, some stretch but whatever that's the point of denim . I'll leave it to people who see my pics to judge if they look ok, but there's no way on earth I'm buying stretch and ditching selvedge denim, no way at all. That stretch stuff is totally aging "grandad" and yuk IMHO like socks with sandals and beige M&S cardies with leather elbows, sorry, but if you're comfy, carry on.
