Jeans to wear with your flight jackets ...

I picked up a pair of high-rise herringbone denim from Olderbest (a brand with the terrible name of 'Annual Ring'). They're bulletproof and really quite comfy.
Didn't knew that website before today.

My bank account hates you! :p

EDIT: Quick question, as per the website size chart, the inseam looks very short (29.1 inches on a size 34). Did you really notice any difference compare to other high rise denims? This sounds like A LOT.

That size chart doesn't look right, to me. The inseam certainly isn't as short as that on mine.

Does anyone have any experience with UES 400WW denim? I like the WW cut (it looks like a more fitted Sugar Cane 1947) and was contemplating grabbing a pair with the 20% discount code at Franklin and Poe. My only reservation is the sizing guide and that I haven't seen much feedback on the brand outside of their flannel shirts. The measurements for the one wash are different on every single website that I've viewed. I need a 16.5" - 16.75" waist width measurements and that puts me in either a 34 or 36, based on Franklin and Poe's size chart. Solidly in a 36 based on other charts that I've seen. Just a little gun shy about ordering a 36 since I typically wear a 32 in U.S. brands. 34 is out of stock at F&P, but in stock at other retailers (no discount offered though).

Accidentally bought yesterday Levi's 555 (Levis number
000LO-0000) and found that the current version with this article number is ideal for flight jackets. High rise, loose silhouette. Closely similar in cut to Levi's 40s.

I'm wearing since few month a SuperStitch LR01 in blue and white (natural of white)

Superstich is a Parisian brand of made in Japan (or bespoke in Paris $$$$) denim by Arthur Leclerq, a Denim geek !.

The LR01 is a Levis 501 70's cut and the LR02 is a Levis 501 50's cut.

These jeans are really confortable and the the hand of this denim is very pleasant, with slight irregularities that give it a crumpled feel to the touch.
Made in small batch by artisans, the availability is not continuous.

Thanks! Suspect they will be waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too short for me... Oh, well!

Hey Ced - i think there is now way those pants might be long enough for you ...

The BRONSON Chinos are - at least on the sizechart 2.5 " longer than those HB-denims and i already needed to let them out so no chance for the "Olderbest" stuff

Just received an eBay offer a moment ago for a lightly used pair of Rag and Bone 15x's in White Oak cone denim. I took a flier on them for $40. No experience with the brand or fit, but the cut looks similar to the Levis 514's that I wear most. The seller accepts returns if they don't work out. How I wish that I would have bought Jan's Ooe Yofukuten jeans that he listed on here a while back...:(

I finally experienced Horoshi Kats jeans for the very first time a few days ago taking advantage of their black friday sale. The most impressive first try on impression I have ever had with jeans or any pants. Just wow great quality, feel, fit. My new total faves - their 4 way stretch selvedge
