Is the tag correct on this MA-1??

No way. The jacket itself is fine but the label is incorrect. I'd have to check the specification number but I believe it's from the liner of an Air Force field jacket with the "clown" collar.

Yes, it's a label from a field jacket liner.

Looks like an incorrect picture as the label is attached to a wool liner. However a four star I would assume would have a Velcro or some other way to id the wearer. Looks made up.

The seller states incorrect but label original to jacket. I do not know how a black label could end up in the pocket of an MA-1 that never had a black label :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?:

The label is definitely incorrect but the jacket would have wool-blend lining in the pockets as depicted. In the overall the seller is either mistaken or . . .
