This seller has either way too much sentimental value attached to his jacket or an unrealistic appraisal of what the jacket is worth based on new vs used.
He's listed it 4 times, the first 3 times with no bidders.
His first listing began at $ 695 and a BIN of $795. Bidders= Zero
He re-listed it with start bid, $ 689. Bidders = Zero
Re-listed a third time, start bid $ 689. Bidders= Zero
Re-listed fourth time, start bid $ 985 Still in progress.
I have no idea why he keeps increasing the starting price, perhaps because he sees WW2 vintage A-2s going for thousands and figures if he increases the start bid, potential buyers will believe this jacket is worth it.

Bomber jacket: Size 40 A-2 .
The bomber jacket is made by Eastman Clothing . It is a horse hide spot on reproduction from the company that made them for the US air corps in England. The artwork is all hand painted & signed by Jim Brusch, an L.A. artist some 20 years ago. I purchased it right off his back. The coat was new at the time, he had planned on keeping it and had his name tag installed. I never changed it because he is also the artist that painted so many of the Eastman jackets.
Please note on waist band there is a snag. This can be repaired though I would only trust Eastman for that.
