Information/dating on this jacket!

Hi there everyone,

I am hoping you the wealth of experience here can help me! I've inherited this leather jacket from my mother. She told me that it was bought in a ?military wear selling shop in Lougborough circa 40-45 years ago.

It is in wonderful condition. It is very heavy and definitely leather.

It lacks any label (unsure if cut out or never had them to begin with) other than a size label of 36.

Could anyone shed any light for me on what I have infront of me?

Does it have any labels anywhere?
Because it looks like one of the many generic “shearling bomber” jackets that were everywhere during the 80s.
They were sometimes called “B-3”; despite being totally different from the actual Type B-3 jackets used during WW2.

No labels other than the size 36 label that is pictured sadly

Any markings on the hardware or on the fabric of the pockets?
Because otherwise, it would be almost impossible to identify.
As I said, these jackets were made by everyone at some point… From big brands like Avirex to small leather working workshops.

Did you check inside the pockets ? Most of the times label Tag is sewn inside the pocket.
