As we say, the difference is like chalk and cheese. The ‘new’ version pretty much like a Schott or some Avirex whereas that original looks in lovely condition almost to the point of a good modern repro!!

Given the goatskins Spiewak used for their WWII contract A-2's have not stood up well to wear and the test of time, makes your wartime Spiewak even more of a treasure. Thanks for sharing, Burt!
