Help with G-1 online - says it’s WWII but looks like a post-war

Hi, I’m a rank newbie to this forum and to vintage USN jackets. I found what’s listed as a WWII era G1 locally, but at best, it seems like a late, post-war version based on the Guide here. The zipper pull and upper back tag are missing - which makes me suspicious, and I don’t have anything else to go by other than these photos. Can anyone help determine what this is, or do I need more information? If the latter, what info/photos should I request? Thanks!!

Nope, not WW2 era. Looks like a Vietnam era 7823E series jacket.

Yep, dynal collar instead of mouton, so 7823D or 7823E. Solidly Vietnam era or beyond, as @Juanito said.
